The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP is the German brand’s rugged version of the Mercedes-AMG G63 that’s debuting at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The company overhauls the SUV by adding a pickup bed to the rear and tuning the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to 789 HP (588 kilowatts) ANd an earth-moving 738 pound-feet (1,000 Newton-meters) of torque. For conquering harsh terrain, the drivetrain gains portal axles. As an additional touch, a Wingcopter drone attaches to the rear.

Brabus estimates the 800 Adventure XLP will reach 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in a mere 4.8 seconds, which is spectacular for such an enormous machine. The 22-inch all-terrain tires force the company to limit the top speed to 130 mph (210 kph).
To make room for the custom pickup bed, Brabus extends the wheelbase by a substantial 19.7 inches (50 centimeters). In total, the vehicle measure 17.4 feet (5.31 meters), which is 27.1 inches (68.9 centimeters) longer than a stock G63 with no spare wheel on the rear. The company claims that the modifications to the frame retain the G-Class’ torsional rigidity.

The body wears a brand new hood with a pair of distinguished scoops, and there’s a bullbar with an integrated winch. A roof rack on the roof adds even extra space for hauling gear into the wilderness.
The 800 Adventure XLP additionally has a custom suspension that provides 19.2 inches (49 centimeters) of ground clearance.

Inside, this G-Class we will find dark brown leather in a color that Brabus calls Burned Oak. The middle of the seats and door panels get diamond-shaped quilting. The headliner is black Alcantara.
