Fab Design is a famous tuning company based in Switzerland and is well-known for its standout customizations carried out on other models from Lamborghini, Land Rover, Tesla, Porsche, or McLaren. This time, it has turned its attention to the Mercedes-AMG G 63, and the result is called the G850.
The starting point was a pre-facelift Mercedes-AMG G 63. That much is still obvious. The boxy shape remains intact, and so do the usual AMG cues, including the side-mounted exhaust tips. But around that familiar structure, Fab Design has added a long list of new pieces that push the SUV into a much more extroverted visual direction.
The exterior uses a bi-tone theme that combines matte carbon fiber with a lime green paint finish. Or finish, at least — that is the material and color combination described here. Carbon fiber shows up on the front bumper, the redesigned grille, the headlamp surrounds, the grille again, the vented hood, and the roof piece. There are also new side steps, a carbon fiber rear bumper, and a custom spare wheel holder. Fab Design’s own logo replaces the Mercedes three-pointed star on the nose, while the wheels and the door mirror casings come from the aftermarket world as well.

Then there is the light bar mounted above the front windscreen. It adds one more detail to a build that was never trying to stay subtle in the first place.
The changes continue inside. Fab Design has reworked the cabin with new black leather upholstery stitched in light green, and the headrests carry the company’s logo. Extra carbon fiber appears on the center console and the steering wheel, and there is also a new set of floor mats. In front of the passenger, the dashboard grab handle reads “G Manufaktur.”

Powertrain details are where the picture gets less clear. The company advertising the vehicle online, @vipdesign.ae on Instagram, does not reveal anything about that side of the car. Even so, the project name does hint at something. If G850 is meant literally, then the SUV should have 850 metric horsepower, equivalent to 838 brake horsepower and 625 kilowatts. That remains an indication, though, not a confirmed figure in the listing.
This is a 2022 model Mercedes-AMG G 63 with only 120 miles on board. The model is available for sale; however, the asking price has not been disclosed yet.
