The well-known company has decided to design the brand new X-Class from Mercedes-Benz in such a way that it will turn more heads than a supercar on the streets and everywhere seen, with the enormous space for storing bikes and other things and the sick design put on by Carlex.
Carlex Design’s Pickup Design department naturally focuses on trucks, and therefore the division’s latest work tries to show a Mercedes-Benz X-Class into the ultimate bicycle hauler. The rig comes complete with a trailer that provides a space to relax in style while recuperating from a day of pedaling.

The company calls it the Exy Viale Bike Tour Set and guarantees the setup is being released soon.
Unfortunately, Pickup design doesn’t offer much information about the trailer. On the outside, it wears a red paint theme with white stripes like the pickup. The company says the inside contains four beds, a bathroom, and a room.

Pickup design disclosed the powder-coated steel bike rack in 2019 and charged €4,995 ($5,429 at current exchange rates) for it. The device puts up to a few bicycles above the cargo bed so that there’s still plenty of space for shipping different gear. When the time involves load or unload, the rack tilts downward electrically for a neater time lifting the cycles into place.
The company also dresses the pickup in a body kit with carbon fiber elements, as well as new fender flares, hood trim, front fascia, tailgate trim, and rear bumper. White decals intensify the truck’s look even more. The X-Class rides on 22-inch wheels with a deep-dish look, y-shaped spokes, and a trim ring round the outside.

Mercedes intends to finish X-Class production in May 2020 as a part of a cost-cutting setup. Nissan assembles the Navara-based truck at its plant in Barcelona, Spain. The vehicle simply didn’t gain enough traction outside of places like Australia and South Africa to warrant keeping, particularly after dropping the first plan to build it in Argentina for the South American market.
