RENNtech has attached a fixed number to its latest SEC program. Twelve cars, no more, are planned worldwide, with first arrivals scheduled for 2027. The project carries the SEC V12 Widebody SLEDGEHAMMER name and starts from the C126 560SEC platform, then moves into a full rework shaped around the company’s long-running SEC direction.
The mechanical center stays clear from the start. RENNtech uses an M120-based V12 and enlarges displacement to 7.5 liters. In one section, output appears at 660 horsepower, while another specification block lists 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, tied to the same M120 V12 package. The engine donor remains the original M120, though internal work changes most of the major hardware.

A forged crankshaft enters the build, shortly followed by titanium connecting rods. Light weight pistons are listed alongside Stage 2 intake and exhaust camshafts. Cylinder heads receive advanced CNC porting, and the intake manifold goes through the same CNC process. RENNtech also notes a naturally aspirated all-aluminum layout, keeping the V12 free of forced induction.
The company links this engine family to two earlier names, CLK GTR and Pagani Zonda. RENNtech also points out endurance and motorsport durability as part of the original M120 background. Smooth high-rev operation and long-term reliability appear in the same description, with no change in direction here, only larger displacement and fresh hardware.

Exhaust work uses stainless steel equal length headers. Downpipes sit behind them with performance cats. The rear section is completed with a car-back system with performance mufflers. No automatic gearbox appears in the published layout, however, the transmission line lists a manual transaxle and optimized weight distribution.
Braking data repeats across two sections, which is unusual, though the figures stay identical. Carbon ceramic brakes are fitted, with rotor diameter reaching 402 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear. Also, front calipers use six pistons while rear calipers use four.

Wheel specifications move into custom sizing. Buyers can choose between four-wheel design options, all built as 2-piece forged aluminum sets. Front wheels measure 19 x 10.0 while at the rear, wheels come in 19 x 12.0 size. Tire sizing follows at 275/35/19 in front and 325/30/19 at the rear.
RENNtech describes each of the twelve cars as tailored to owner preference. The company also places the project under more than 35 years of its own Performance Without Compromise history. One detail stays separate from the rest, which is the claim of the first 7.5-liter SEC in the world, written directly beside the M120 V12 heading.
